On the old Black Industries site there used to be a section detailing most of the planets in the Calixis sector ... naming them, listing their classification, and giving the then-known information on these worlds. Now the site is gone but this information was very handy for Gamesmasters and players alike as it gave an overview of what was on which planet ...

... does anybody know if this planet data can still be found somewhere?

I think peacekeep_b may have a compiled PDF of all of the information, as may others, I'm unsure if he's uploaded it, but you might want to check his Unearthed Apocrypha site.

I think that everyone hopes, though, that it will make an appearance on the FFG site shortly. Indeed, since they seem to have been so keen to include the concept of "community" on their new website, perhaps they're going to push the boundaries a bit more with the fan contributions to the Calixis sector. Their savviness does, after all, seem to be expanding all the time.

Yes it is posted on UA. I plan to revise the PDF a bit though, make it look a bit better.

An open wiki could be pretty cool for creating the multiples worlds of the Calixis Sector.

I belive tehre is one, which in fact, has many of the planet images and data from the original BI site.

The Calixis Planest are back up. You can find the information regarding them here.

And the actual Sector Page here. Although be warned it isn't yet back to its BI glory days status, that may though be due to a change in how the content is to be handled 'officially' (just a speculation not really based on anything concrete.)
