I just recently got into Runebound but am having a great time playing it with my friends and family. We recently expanded our collection to include the Sands of Al Kalim expansion but have encountered a little bit of confusion about some text.

On the yellow challenge card Elder Spectre the reward section states: Recieve 4 gold and take this card. You must discard the "Band of Thieves" and "Sand Skiff" Legendary Rewards during your Experience step, if you have them.

Because it says and rather than and/or, we have been playing that you have to have both Rewards before the card effect becomes active. Is this correct or should we be discarding either of the Rewards whenever we have them? There are several other yellow challenge cards that have similar effects so we want to make sure we're doing it correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm pretty sure the "and" means "and/or" as its telling you the card is incompatible with those other two cards. As such, a person wants to read over a card carefully before you defeat it as there are times its better to run away and keep the legendary reward cards you have already collected.
