Rules Questions

Got some questions about Rogue Trader, Was looking voer the boards and didnt see the answers I was looking for so hope you guys can help.

1) The Adeptus Sororitas Power Armor, would this be considered Best Craft Light Power Armor? And how long would the power supply last? I know from reading some of the posts here that military grade power armor lasts longer than the 1d5 hrs that "normal" power armor lasts for. I ask this is becuase I have a character whos background is that of the Adeptus Sororitas and would want to aquire a suit for herself while working for her RT.

2) The bionic heart on page 149, and other implants, are there Good and Best qualities for these? Would a Best Craft Bionic Heart give +2 armor to the cest compared to +1 stock model?

3) XP question, Do all charcacters start with 5000 XP that is considered to be spent during character creation, and therefore any XP earned afterwards be added to the 5k XP when determining Rank?

4) During character creation, I see that some backgrounds and careers start with poor bionics, but they can be upgraded with XP, the XP used to upgrade them be from the XP you earned AFTER character creaton or is that simply stated becuase you can import DH character to RT.

5) Recoil Gloves, can I use a pair of Recoil Gloves, page 140, with a suit of light power armor to use a Basic weapon in each hand, provided I have the Amidex and Two-Weapon (Balistc) talents?

6) Are there Artifact weapons and armor like there is in the Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising game, itms like Armor that protects against corruption and chainswords that give a bonus to hit and damage vs. Orks or Chaos? Would these be Unique items that would have to be aquierd via a quest or great peril?

Thanks for the reply, and Where in the RT book does it stat that you have 500 XP to spend during character creation? What page is that on?

2) No, there are no Craftsmanship variants for many cybernetics.

3) You start with 4500xp plus the 500 discretionary xp you get to spend at character creation, so yes a newly made character has 5000xp.

4) No. You are supposed to use your 500 discretionary xp to upgrade these items.

5) Yes. The Light Power Armour is irrelevant in this case.

6) There aren't any that are statted out in the Rogue Trader books, but it absolutely makes sense for the GM to invent some. The various Dark HEresy sourcebooks, especially the Inquisitor's Handbook and Ascension, may have some ideas you can use. Deathwatch also has some Chapter-specific and Deathwatch-specific space marine relic weapons, and while I wouldn't recommend importing them directly they could give you some ideas.
