Why not? It gets dealt damage and if it survives, qualifies for Savage triggering. Savage triggering doesn't care about what damage it is AFAIK.
Ah. Then lizardmen in the same zone would pretty much kill each other then since their savage would trigger nonstop until one of them was dead. Wasn't sure if that was how it was supposed to work.
