The winner's report here.

Eventhough i am not the winner (only a finalist) I have to say for myself, Thanks to all the guys there, it was an incredible event, we had lots of fun and hope to see you all there next year for an even bigger INVASION! :)

Finally!

Thanks for posting all of this - I'm going to try everything in my power to attend this next year. It sounded amazing!! Congrats to Liber (cool name, it sounds like a Warhammer name, even!). :)

Nice to hear that Reclaim the Fallen isn't as broken as some claim it is, though I still think it's unnecessarily powerful.

Love it, Love it, Love it, Love it!

Order strong? yes

RTF broken? no

Dwarves still slightly overpowered? sure

(Based on my games recently) Destruction unplayable? not really.

Thank you for giving me continued hope for this game!....and making me wish I lived in Europe.

Very interesting decks from 1st and 2nd place, but what could I expect from Prague Team?

congratulations from Poland, Wroclaw

I hope to meet you next time Libor, and play some rematch from Regionals finals ; ) (this year it was impossible for me and friends to be on Stahleck : (

The evolution of the first two decks is very interesting, because we playtest together each week our ideas often merge and combine :)

It all started when Libor made his Dark elf disruption deck (influenced by your Destruction RBT, Przemek). Then one day as I played my fun High elf deck (no special idea, just the cards i liked) i managed to get Illyriel out in the second turn and completely lock my opponent. That made me think... :) I came up with High elf disrupt and Libor remade it into dwarves.

What i liked about the deck most was that it could beat any other deck out there. Ok, it was unrealiable at times, but on the other hand, with a good start there was no stopping it. The basic idea was to destroy whatever support they played, stabilize the game, then play Flames and because now the opponent's board is probably clean or with just one or two supports, win.

And I just love the way Asuryan's Cleansing messes with the opponents play (and heads) : )

P.S. I am a veteran TCG player and have never been on a better event, so if you can make it next year, do so :)
