I have searched the forums and found nothing, so here goes...

Prestige allows you to gain talented (choose one) talent, what if you pick a basic skill you are not trained in? dose it just give you training in that skill?

I ask because i was using the character creater excel file form this site, and that happened, is that right?

There is nothing written in the rules for the Talented talent that requires your character to be trained in the skill he is talented in.

You can pick any skill, but it would not give you training in it.

If you chose Talented for a skill you are not trained in you would roll tests on that skill at 1/2 of your ability score +10, that is of course if it is a Basic Skill. If you choose this for a non basic skill you still wouldn't be able to roll on that skill until you purchase the base skill.
