I've been playing with the standard 1" = 1 meter scale for a while now. My main problem with that scale is that it makes chase scenes very difficult to run- characters can potentially cover the whole table in 2 rounds, neccessitating stoping and setting up new terrain constantly. A secondary negative is that most Basic weapons can cover the whole table, with almost no worry of being out of range. I'm considering switching to a scale of .5" = 1 meter. Before I try it, has anyone else done this and encountered new problems from it?

Going to 1” = 2 meters is as valid as any.

1” = 3 meters puts you, generally, in the most players move 1 square as a half action range.

We have even gone to 1" = 5 m for really long range, slow movement.
