I am wondering if DE is good enough to be a rush deck. So build this :
Units (30) :
3 Dwarf Slave
3 Seasoned Corsair
3 Gutter Runner
3 Shades
3 Vanguard of Woe
3 Black Guard Aspirant
3 Helbane's Raiders
3 Wight Lord
3 Black Dragon Rider
1 Lokhir Felheart
1 Mortella
1 Vile Sorceress
Tactic (8) :
3 Innovation
3 Caught The Scent
2 Hate
Quest (2) :
Night Raids
Sack Tor Aendris
Support (10) :
2 Mind Killer
2 Word of Pain
3 Armory
2 Har Ganeth
1 Altar of Khaine
So basically I build this deck with the cards I have so they maybe limited. Im putting the deck here so they can be discussed. The deck was built on the dwarf slave, armory, innovation accelaration. These three cards have great synergy. The other synergy that I have been trying is the discard rush (Shades n Gutter runners) and some sort of control with helbane's raiders. Seasoned corsairs, Wight Lord, and vanguard of woe are self-explanatory. Black Dragon Riders and Black Guard Aspirant is the beatdown cards of the deck. Mind Killer and Word of pain are there to augment Black Guards and disruption. The Quests are only there to be tested. They are nice fit in a aggro deck.
Here are some thoughts to be discussed :
1. Do the deck need more Vile Sorceress ? Vile Sorceress is a great control card but slow for aggro.
2. Do the deck need warp excavations and contested village boost?
3. Swapping Black Dragon Rider for Druchii noble ? Druchii noble has more speed and more rush
4. Your thoughts?
Just some decklist brainstorming.
Good idea on the spirit hosts! But, I think Mind Killer will still be in the deck. The reasons? 0R to cast. So by turn 2, black guard Aspirant can attack with 3 Power. If you have god hand (another black guard), that is one burned zone in the third turn. Wight lords is okay for 3 (gonna need the destroy effect for pesky heroes) but might cut down the black dragon riders. Hate is quite good as disruption early game. But suck later on. The deck is built over speed (need to win by turn 5 or 6 or GG). So zero mana disruption is important. Might try the dark visions later if they prove to be liability rather than advantage.
