Ok, being the geek that I am I hang out on differnt type design forums as well and once upon a time we made a "forum font", each member of the forum designed a letter and submitted it to the thread and then when we where done they all got gathered up in a big file and made into a font. So I thought it would be fun writing up a forum scenario, each of us writes a bit for it, an NPC, a chapter a whole over all arc, depending on what you feel. I don't have a story arch for it yet so Ill post something along the lines of a synopsis later, and then we can work it from there.

Setting:
Here we go, the players are on a small, somewhat out of the way mining world (haven’t given it a name yet, it’s not a hive but I’m seeing it as a 70 communist Russia) the world is in decline as the ore and promethium that the world used to export have slowly disappeared, there are still minerals of value on the world, but nowhere near what it used to be. Lots of poverty and overworked mass’ trying to scrape a meagre living under these horrible conditions, mining related diseases are common and scurvy is abound.
Players are sent to investigate a series of murders involving everything from miners to nobles to clergy; only thing that ties them together is the manner that they were killed (something grizzly).
Leaving local enforcements baffled as to how the killer gets around so they call in the big guns.
Of course we need more flesh here, throw something at it or I will do it tomorrow.
