I have made a deathcult assassin and I have been thinking about giving her some Powerclaws, or lighting claws dont remember what they are called. But what are your opinions? is it crazy for a DCA to run around with them?

Yes and no, though I wouldn't use the exact DW version...

1d10+3 E, Pen 5, Special, Power Field
If a pair is wielded add 1 damage DoS
Moritat ability would add tearing

If your talking lightning claws as you see on TT and what not.. I can't honestly think of any time I've ever seen them on anything less than a Space Marine, ever. Pretty sure they essentially require you to have a power fist with them integrated the way they are setup.

So fluff wise I wouldn't want to really put them out in normal circulation - they are... Rare to say the least since its usually only space marines and traitor legions. But you can definitely fluff something along the same, or you could use a modified pair of the lightning gauntlets from IHB.

one of the spyrer of necromunda use claws and if they don't use power they look sharp (probably monoed). spyrer may not be death cult assassin but they certainly kill well.

In DOW (for what that's worth) the Imperial Guard comander has a power claw weapon, doesn't look like a lightning claw but you know what they keep saying about all weapons in all shapes and sizes.

I certainly can't see a problem with it. For the primitive version it's probably similar to the Punch dagger in the (I:HB) if Soul Calibre has taught me anything. Then the chain and power versions can be made up as and when you get them.

If you really want to make it the focus of your character you might even make up your own Death Cult based around it.
