I really did not expect this to be the next release in the Arkham franchise, but apparently FFG is publishing a trilogy of novels featuring characters in Arkham Horror.
Makes you wonder: what's next?

I said it before and I'll say it again. Arkham brand air freshener.
Edit: On second thought, this might be their way of clarifying how the rules work. "But before the monsters could scare him, Pete blew into the Flute." Oh.
I have read other books by this author and I like him. I think these books will add quite a bit to the AH gameplay. I like the idea that it will be about characters in the game. I do hope the trilogy books come out faster than one per year.
Looks like the ARKHAM FILES will have a various items of content for Arkham, not just always new expansions for the game but all sorts of things to add to the atmosphere.

::Laughter::
How come everyone is forgetting about FFG's ace in the hole:
THE ARKHAM HOUSE
It will be the only place that can hold everything from AH, AHI, COC:LCG, MOM, and the books.
But to be serious
, I like the idea of novels based on AH and can't wait to read them. If FFG isn't going to release any more expansions for AH, a carrying case that can hold everything without getting moved around would be great.

When I've pined for a FFG-released AH storage in the past (ideally with printed Dark Pharoah and Dunwich Horror heralds), I've always called it the Arkham Storer.
Yes but "Arkham House" is a reference to the publishing company created by August Derleth and Donald Wandrei, with the intent to publish Lovecraft's works in hardcover. So it would be a great gimmick.
