Is this really how the no cards elimination works?

By player1425682, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

I just bought this game yesterday and I haven't played any kind of CCG since MTG about 10 years ago, so I'm very rusty on this. The rules I'm not sure about are:

1. If you run out of cards in your deck you're immediately eliminated from the game.

2 You have to draw as many cards per turn as you have power icons in the quest area.

In my test game last night (took about 3 hours...) I was Empire and playing against Chaos. The Chaos player had 5 power icons in the quest area, so drew 5 cards per turn. Then they played a unit to the kingdom which had 5 power icons, and used it to attack me. After this I drew a tactic that let me move any unit to another zone, so I moved this high power card into the quest zone (I just didn't want it attacking me :) . We realised on the next turn that they now had to draw 10 cards per turn, and only had this one turn left to win.

Is that right? Seems a disappointing way for me to win a game.

Thanks,

Richard

You are right, with this rule.

When there is no more card in your deck you lose. (you don't even have to draw a card to lose).

Chaos has access to cards/effects that allow them to sacrifice/destroy units. Now, if Chaos isn't packing them... demonio.gif
