Intro: Please can someone provide an easy solution to this problem of INSTALLING Strange Eons on a MAC.

What I Have: MacBookPro, Leopard 10.5.8, 32bit Intel

1. I have downloaded Strange Eons or strange-eons-osx-b2668

2. I have downloaded supplemental 32 Beta version soylatte or openjdk6-b16-24_apr_2009-r1

3. i have read both the read me file associated with the install and the informational supplements to attempt the unix based instructions.

4. Currently I am having difficultly with step 3 within the http://cgjennings.ca/eons/download/install_osx.html#OSX that states "Open a new Finder window and choose Go | Go to Folder and enter /usr/local. The folder will open; create a new subfolder here called soylatte (or whatever you like—but remember the name for later)." As i even attempt this step it immediately says FILE NOT FOUND.

5. I am hoping there is someone out there that has enough experience to walk me through step by step instructions to install Strange Eons using MAC language as well as helping me understand how to create a directory for Strange Eons to work. If I have downloaded the wrong components please let me know and continue to provide instructions. I think i am having trouble having the computer understand where Strange Eons and Soylatte live in order to access the application. If it is possible for someone to baby me thru this and say create a folder named this, drop all files here, in terminal type this, then this. These are the instructions I need in order to install this amazing application.

If you can help walk me through how to install this application easily in step by step instructions based on my MAC components I am willing to MAIL you a copy of my expansion for your enjoyment. I have a lot of great game ideas to improve the gameplay of Talisman and am a veteran player of 13 years in the game.

Please help me out.
