hey yall me and some fellows are setting up a campain with new members me being one were starting from level three or rank three and ive made the toon i just cant get my head around making him upto rank three would that be going from Conscript with 400 exp to armsman with 1000 exp? or have i just shot myself in the face with a lascannon?

You spend 500 XP on rank 1 advancements (or characteristic increases).

Then you can spend 500 more XP on rank 1 or 2 advancements (or more characteristic increases).

As soon as you spend the first 500 XP you are no longer a Conscript (ie rank 1) and now officially rank 2.

After spending 1000 XP you are considered rank 3, sadly you wont have any XP to spend on rank 3 at starting point.
