The Secret of the Omega Vault

He's supposed to be in the Rock, I believe.

A one-armed Dorn.

Ain't Russ alive but missing too?

Most of them are simply missing. Russ either went to the 'tree of life' to find some fruit to cure the Emperor with or he flew into the Eye of Terror, depending on who you believe. Dorn and Sanguinius are confirmed dead, along with Ferrus Manus- everyone else is just missing. Though many think the Guilliman-healing-in-statis-rumor is a myth (really though, all the 'vanished' primarchs being alive could be myth).

I thought that was Luther was supposed to be in The Rock, they where not 100% clear on Lion El'Jonson as its only supposed to be the watchers who know where he is? Possibly a deep part of the Rock no one goes to, or somewhere else, no reason it couldn't be the Omega Vault, it is a stretch though.

I'm a bit hazy in the memory department, but I thought that Mr. Forest was dead and in the rock somewhere and Luther was just dead? I really can't remember.

Anyhow; there's plenty of better candidates who simply went 'missing' to choose from. And I wouldn't want it to be The Lion anyway, because it panders even more to the 'special super-secret squirrel snowflake' Dark Angels.

As a former 'special super-secret squirrel snowflake' player I can confirm that Luther is alive and insane in a cell on The Rock, whimpering for forgiveness. The Watchers appeared after the fight and stole The Lion's body, and are apprently keeping him alive somewhere for some reason.

I always thought it would be something to do with the Cabal or the Old Ones.

A Slaan perhaps. Hmm that could go badly, a benevolent Xeno and the Xenophobic deathwatch.
