I seem to be the person starting the most threads in this subforum. Anyways...

I have just heard from the St Christopher's Inn that they will not be honoring my booking for this date as they said they had taken a previous booking but it had not been entered in the diary. They said I could book the following Saturday but I feel so annoyed about this that I'm going to look for another central London venue. I'll post when I've found something - I'm going to try the Cittee of Yorke in Holborn and the Artillery Arms near Old Street as starters. There are also quite a few large pubs in Docklands - relatively easy for me but I'd want to canvas others on a move to that part of London.

My attitude is if you can't honour a booking you don't deserve my money.

Oh what a letdown on their behalf, good luck on the search I wish i could help, if you can find somewhere nearer Victoria I wont complain though haha.

is there any word on the new venue? is this still definitely happening?

I'm hoping to get down from Nottingham, and don't want to come all that way if there's nothing on. - Also moving house next week, so internet access may be a bit sporadic to check for last-minute updates.

For those of us coming up from Brighton, the trains go to Victoria and London Bridge so it isn't too hard to get to Docklands or elsewhere. Looking forward to it.
