Do character cards in your discard pile count as characters?
Nice little card for Shub here. While it's tempting to use it to go from 4 to 7 resources with it, I think the best use is to go from 1-1-4 to 1-4-4, making it a practically 'free' effect, and helps a lot in swarming with mid-sized monsters. It's also good for those expensive activated abilities, or set up domains for a quick Dimensional Rift.

Yeah, shame it only counts character cards, but a turn 2 Shocking Transformation gives a gug, and 1/3rd of the resources. Good thing it say "up to 3" so it allows a little flexibility, for a turn 3 active Gug... So, yeah, definately nice.
