Sure, but since you can only have one uncompleted Quest on you at a time (barring the 4 starting Quests when using WQ ending), the sequence would be: get quest, complete, bounce to WC, get Talisman, move away (in case you want to get a quest from the WC), move back/get quest, complete, bounce to WC, get Talisman, rinse-repeat two more times max (since only 4 Talismans in the Purple deck).
You can only have one quest at a time, after completing your quest you can always take a new quest by visiting Warlock's Cave. If you already have a Talisman you get a random treasure card for completing your quest (4th edition).
I play the 2nd edition as well, in which there are no treasure cards. In that case you get a talisman every time you complete a quest. Since there are only 4 Talismans allowed in the game, getting all of them could be a strategy to prevent other players from entering the Valley of Fire.

Note that this is a variant, not a standard rule. And the Treasure variant from Frostmarch allows you to take a Treasure instead of a Talisman even if you don't have a Talisman.
Realy? I did't know that, thought you always had to take a Talisman for your first quest (if you didn't have one already). Thanks for the info, this makes it more interresting to accept a quest, especialy when you use the Dungeon expansion, where you always have a chance of getting to the Crown of Command if you are strong enough.
Thanks.
Treasure Reward Variant: it SUXX, even if it's official. Getting a Treasure for a quest , that could be something like "discard one gold", it's just not fun in my book.
Not all quests are that easy, and not all treasure is that usefull. I think that characters gaining treasure can also be a good reason to get hunted down. Especially with a lot of players this could make it a very bloody game.

Most of Quests are. I'm almost always playing Warlock Quests variant with 10 Quests, sometimes more, and among that 35 quests only Take One Life From Another Character and Deliver (Discard) A Seven Point Trophy are hard. Rest of them are super easy.
As for Treasure Cards, only Talisman and Elixir of Life among them are crap. Rest of them are very useful, especially when gained for free. Personally I'm playing with a hmebrew rule, that You need to accept 2 quests at once for Treasure card. When the first quest is completed - nothing happens. But when secong is, Character is teleported to Warlock Cave and gains random Treasure.
Kill a Dragon is still a *****, even with the increased number of them, especially in the Highlands. Seems I never draw them, others do and kill them right away

I need to agree with You. My friend once lose the game with it. In fact Highland so far introduced the highest amount of Dragons, equal to 5. Still, that's 5 Dragons among 142 cards...

You still have a legal chance to win the game if you aren't using "Replacing Quest variant": kill yourself, discarding the quest.

"Kill yourself"??? Sure, suicide gets rid of the Quest, but you also start a new character from scratch, not ideal, especially toward the mid- to lategame. With the Replacing Quests variant, you just need to find another Quest from somewhere. I use that variant myself, but after you've gone off hunting for a Dragon in the Highlands for example, it's a long hike back to the Warlock's Cave to replace the quest if you don't get lucky and draw another Quest-offering encounter along the way.
