HE Deck (check out, leave me comments / notes ^.^)

Since the last BP and March came out I've been messing around with a HE DD Deck ^.^ Once deckbox has everything in order ill post it there.. but till then.. here it is.. /discuss

Units: 21

Sea Guard Captain x3

2 (HE,HE) 1p 2hp : Action: When this unit attacks, deal 1 indirect damage to target opponent.

Shadow Warrior x3

2 (HE) 1p 1hp : FORCED: At the beginning of your turn, each opponent must assign 1 damage to any unit in his battlefield.

High Elf Spearmen x3

3 (HE) 2p 1hp

Silver Helm Detachment x3

3 (HE) 1p 2hp: This unit enter play with 3 resouce toekns on it. ACTION: Remove a resource token from this unit ot have it gain 1p until the end of the turn (limit once per turn)

Descendant of Indraugnir x3

6(HE, HE, HE) 4p 4hp: ACTION: When this unit attacks, deal 4 indirect damage to each opponent.

Skinks of Sotek x3

2 1p 1hp: ACTION: When this unit enters play, deal 1 uncancellable damage to target unit.

Spawn of Itzl x3

3 1p 3hp: Action: when this unit attacks, destory target damaged unit in the defending zone.

Support: 18

Outpost of Tiranoc x3

2 (HE) 1p building: Whenever you deal indirect damage, deal an additional point o findirect damage.

Elven Warship x3

3 (HE) 1p ship: ACTION: At the beginning of your turn, deal 2 indirect damage to target opponent.

(UNIQUE) War Crown of Saphery x2

2 (HE) Attachment. Relic. : Attach to a HE unit. Attached unit gains 1p for each resource token on this card. FORCED: At the beginning of your turn, place a resource token on this card.

Dragon Mage Wakening x2

0 (HE) attachment: attach to taget unit, Attached unit gets +3HP.

Repeater Bolt Thrower x2

3 (HE, HE, HE) Siege. : Battlefield. Action: Spend X resources to deal X indirect damage to target opponent. X is the number of your developments in this zone. "(limit once per turn)"

Warpstone Excavation x3

0 1p Warpston.: Your units enter this zone corrupted

Contested Village x3

1 1p building. : Limited (only one limtied building a turn)

High Elf's Disdain x2

2 (HE,HE) SPELL: Action: Cancel a tatic Just played.

Burn it down x2

2: Action: Destory one Target support card whith printed cost X or lower. X is the number of developments in your battlefield.

Surprise Assault x2

2: Action: Deal X Indirect damage to one target player. X is the number of developments in your battlefield.

plays fast.. love the thing.. any ideas or words.. both positive and negative.. let me know ^.^ any questions also.. ask why this card over that.. make me think.. i wanna make this my main deck.

I would remove the 'For Ulthuan' tactics and replace them with two 'Ellyrian Reavers' since they will speed up your BF developments. Plus you get a decent defender that can also take a hit from ROS. Just my two pennies.

yea i saw them.. ill give it a shot.. that split attack card is very game by game.. it got me a turn 5 win with 2 dragons.. and sometimes ends it quick.. but ill pay test your idea.. see how that works ^.^ thanks

With the actual HE indirect damage deck I also like to play :

- Loremaster of hoeth + Lisandel combo

Reading that it sounds ok.. but with no healing in this build i dont like the 2+? im taking also. Another thing i dont like about that combo is the lack of total control.. he can just pay you 2 and be done with it. Also without the hero, your kinda just sitting there.. doing nothing with him.. Everything else in this build has uses after its played minus lizardman micro poper.

btw i playe tested the Ellyrian Reavers last night.. great additon.. ill update the deckbox build later.. i might add 1 or 2 copys of that hero.. its just hard to think of what to take out.. if i could keep poping my 1 non cancle dmg little guy.. that would be sick.. but best case i have problems poping myself for 5 every turn (2+3 for towers) with the loremaster cycle combo.

when building a deck i try to stay away from combos and focus on synergy.. how everything acts as a whole.. you only draw 1/2 that combo.. and your ******

You are mixing heros, Lelansi:
Limit one Hero per zone. If another unit in this zone would be destroyed, return it to its owner's hand instead.

So:
You have 2 Outposts and Lelansi in play.
It is your turn and you play Gifts.
You play Loremaster.
2 Damage on Loremaster 2 on your capitol, 4 for your enemy.
Return Loremaster to your hand, get 2 resources.
Repeat (and win).

I was playing this combo until I saw card text in english :

Outpost of Tiranoc

Whenever you deal indirect damage, deal 1 aditional indirect damage.

Loremaster of hoeth :

Forced: After this unit enters play, each player takes 2 indirect damage. (Players assign their own indirect damage.)

Elven Warship

ACTION: At the beginning of your turn, deal 2 indirect damage to target opponent (players allocate their own indirect damage.)

Surprise Assault

Action: Deal X indirect damage to one target player. X is the number of developments in your battlefield. (Players assign their own indirectdamage.)

In Outpost of tiranoc source and how damage are "made" are given (as Dam says in my question in the rules section).

With the loremaster of hoeth the source is the loremaster not the player, and we both "take" damage (they are not dealt)

In the opposite with both Elven warship and Surprise Assault, the source and the way damages are made are checked.

I have made a request, 2 days ago, in addition to my question in the rules section, but I have not yet an answer.

By the way Lelansi + loremaster are still strong and Lelansi is by his own a strong hero.

aw i see now.. thats just sick.. something to look into.. ha.. little backlash damage unless i have like 2 towers out.. ill look into that now.. lol.. now that you cleared it up.. i giggled..

i had my heros mixed up

Adding Lelansi and the Loremaster of Hoeth brought up a problem.. sure he can eat the first 2 points of dmg.. but im sure the towers will augment his damage.. even if its reading that its coming from him.. soon well get an erreta or something. IF that is the case.. the +dmg dose hurt.. with only one tower.. you still see a bit of pain

too offset that i added in Finreir's guard.. the tough 1 helps.. ALOT... new deck list will go up after i get home from work..

Probably another vote for Loremaster NOT comboing with Tiranoc Outpost.

i agree, if thats the case.. its another BT deck.. minus the massive kingdom build.. sick just sick.. totaly gonna run it at locals till we get a ruling though :3

As there are no rulling and the way to play it from the card text is quite ambiguous it is not obvious that in a tournament context the referee chose one way of playing it instead of the other.

In a pure semantic interpratation of the cards you can not.

With an abusive use of language naturaly and frequently made you can.

The only thing you know it is that in this case the referee is right. (whatever he choses).

Dont forget that that will also help mitigate the pain of temple to vaul!

A Once per turn errata would be more than enough for that one.

About which card are you talking about with the "once per turn errata".
