For those of you familiar with old school MTG this is my attempt to make a classic Erhamagedon (Erham Djin/Armageddon) deck in AGOT.

Basic plan is to get out Beric and a few others but let myself fall behind in the race then valar morh. Follow up with Westeros Bleeds when needed and cycle through my plot deck to quickly get my Valars back. Use open market to get WB and back in hand when needed.

Scheming on the Sands, Rookeries and Tides of War to cycle the plots quickly.

Although Devious Intentions is an out of house card it is still worth the 3 gold cost to put it on Beric.

Any and all suggestions welcomed. I am a new player with limited number of games against other new players so would love some input from the more experienced players here.

Thanks!

one thing your running to many agenda but beside that look solid and fun to play

Unless you are running "The North" agendas, you can only have one. In your case, being a Brotherhood deck, I'd stick with that agenda and dump the Kings of Summer one.

Otherwise, looks interesting. Best way to know if it's competitive is to just play it a few times.

Thanks for the heads up. I thought you could have more than one, most likely due to all the "The North" decks you see but never checked into it. As already pointed out I would keep the Brotherhood agenda. The KOS one was just a bonus but not needed for the deck.

that what i was thinking for a brotherhood deck bleeds to kill all but the viper and beric

I like it and I misread The Viper as I thought he could be hit by your own events but that is not the case so I will add him to my list but with your plot I see you went with Wildfire Assault and not Valar. The problem with that is you have Beric and The Viper both at str3 and they have Wildling Army and DOFT or maybe two armys of the Faithfull or a Host and some other 6+ str card and with no way to get your Bleeds back .

I have not played the Martell version I posted yet but I did play a Baratheon one in a 3 player game and i found that even after a valar and bleeds the other players were able to build back up as they would unit against you.

Although this deck may work in joust I was thinking of it more as a mele deck hence the need to repeat bleed and valar as much and fast as I can.

Im confused as to why your running 3 Beric? he cant be discarded or killed if you don't have any power on your house so why not use summoning season your first turn and get him out there. now you have 2 more cards to play with and you should add the attachment Devious Intentions

IMO If your running the Brotherhood Agenda you should always have Devious intentions on either Beric or Thoros, even at 3 gold the benefit with this agenda is huge

And if you're running the Brotherhood agenda on a neutral housecard, it's even cheaper!

Beric is not invincible! One Nightmare or Milk of the Poppy and he can be killed! That's why you want to put more Berics in it. I do not like plot cards which give you and your opponent an advantage. What's the big advantage of Devious Intentions? Stealth? Force bonus for Power? It's nice but not exceptional good. Attachments are at the moment to easy to discard/blank.

Jack, it is funny you mention that because I said the same thing last night when playing the deck. I would only pull 1 copy out though and the reason is as mentioned he CAN be killed with the right cards, mostly attachments. As well with two copies I have a higher chance of getting him in my opening hand so I can Summon for someone else.

As for Devious intentions yes, for me it is a no brainer. Even at 3 gold Beric gets stealth and as he gains power gets stronger.

For protecting Beric I have Hands Judgement to stop nightmares and other events and ill tidings for attachments. I then use Open market to get them back into my hand.

The only problem I see is the speed of the deck and the fact that even if I Valar on turn two and Bleed on turn 3 if the other player is getting their locations out they will start to overwelm me with larger forces.

This deck needs lots of setup so I think it would work well as a mele control deck but I have doubts it can win joust. Just not fast enough.

I don't think anyone said he was invincible but he is very interesting in terms of the brotherhood agenda and different things you can play around with. i Play Martell and always have Maester of Lemonwood so i'm not entirely concerned about Milk, also use the porridge plot card so i can pull that if i need to, and since im so concerned about keeping Beric alive i can kneel Tom o Sevenstrings to cancel Nightmares if it comes out.

I don't want to seem like i'm overestimating the value of Brotherhood, because i am noobish and it is almost worthless if you can put power on my house card but it is a very interesting deckbuild

Usually Nightmare target your beric in plot phase and the comes the valar and you have not money to pay for hand's judgement.

Tom Sevenstrings kneel to cancel the effects of an event card

my question is about numbers if you were building a Martell Brotherhood deck how many copies would you be running of Berric, Thoros, Tom Sevenstrings, Lade Stoneheart, Lem Lemoncloak and Edric Dayne?

3, 2-3, 2, 2-3, 1, 1 sounds about right.

I would go 2 accross the board. If I dont get Berric in my opening hand I would just Summoning Season him.

I would just run trip Beric and trip Obara Sand if pulling him for your first marshall is that big a deal. 1 Draw, 2 Mulligans, plus the cards post-setup plus 2 card draw. I think you have a good chance of netting him for that first marshall.

Also, summoning season gives me my Castellan of the Rock, which will ruin Beric's day.

Until I Valar or Bleed. You do notice my deck is setup to burn through my plots quickly as well as recycle event cards?

Not saying the deck is perfect. In fact it is 0 for 2 in three player games but its starting to come together and a lany kneel deck is not something im too worried about.

Depends what you are playing. If you play in Joust, there is a large portion of the meta dedicated to Lannister and Martell control. I wouldn't want them pulling Castellans or TRV through your building season. In melee it is a very different story, making friends is a necessity, and building season helps a lot with that.
