Just some Noob questions

By chrassos, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

hi all,

1. what does Rhaegar T.´s response mean? cant he be killed?

so, if he is in a killed state anyone can end the current phase and no cards go (physicaly) in the deadpile.

2. The Titans Bastard: After a Card is placed in an opp. Deadpile. Physicaly or Not?

i think after Step 3 (an opp. Card is considered dead) a card is placed (in Game terms) in the deadpile (just not pysicaly) so i can trigger his response anyway. Maybe after a Valar? correct.

(v1.0) Rhaegar Targaryen F82
When the round is brought to an end by
Rhaegar's ability, the current phase and all
phases remaining in the round are also considered
to end. If the round ends during a challenge,
that challenge ends without resolution.

Rhaegar - and anyone else who dies with him - is already moribund when you trigger is effect. As this entry says, the phase is still considered to "end," so moribund cards (like him) are placed in the dead pile.

What is "Moribund"?
A Moribund card (and its attachments) is considered
to have been killed, discarded, returned
to its owner's hand or deck, or moved to its
owner's shadows area, but only for the purposes
of triggering responses and passive abilities.
This includes responses and passive abilities
triggered by a card being placed in the appropriate
out-of-play area.
A Moribund card is, for
all other purposes, still considered in play.

Hope that helps.

sure it does.

thxs again.
