Although Dragonstone Port is very silly in its current form.

Well, any referee would rule that you can do this one time only, no problem here I think.

Gualdo, will you update first post with contacts or should we post it here or maybe in "AGoT Organized Play" section?

We keep this thread. You post here your contact and I update first post ;-)

(maybe it is only me, but I never look organized play section)

My contact data didn't change:

Except that ruling would be entirely wrong. Personally, if I was a TO and saw the card as-is, I would rule that you could use it as-is. That said, I won't be using the card until it is errata lengua.gif

Are you serious?

The Tournament Organizer (“TO”) is the final
authority for all card interpretations, and he or she
may overrule the FAQ when, in his or her opinion, a
mistake or error is discovered.

Yes, I am serious.

Take Coldhands for example. Many believe that Blood of the First Men should apply to and reduce the cost of Coldhands when he is played from hand; however, based on his text, Blood of the First Men does not apply to him until he is in play; therefore, his cost is not reduced by the Agenda.

Suppose I consider this a mistake. I'm a TO and I rule that the Agenda does apply to him. As a TO I can ultimately do this, but to make this decision mid-tournament is an extremely poor choice. To change how a card works when the FAQ can sufficiently explain how it does work in the middle of a tournament is not only unnecessary, but unfair to the players in the tournament. It's also debatable that applying new text or changing the text of a card isn't really overruling the FAQ, and therefore an abuse of the TO's power. I've always considered that TO power to apply to how the rules resolve game actions and not making on-the-spot card errata. I'm willing to concede against this point of contention, however, for the sake of argument.

Before completely disagreeing with me, I think we can find some common ground. If a TO makes an errata/ruling not consistent with the current FAQ before the beginning of a tournament and everyone agrees to it or no one raises any objections, then I believe the TO has appropriately used his or her powers.

In short, let Gualdo and/or longclaw point out any changes (and why these changes are being made) to any rules or cards (i.e. Dragonstone Port) prior to the beginning of the OCTGN tournament. If everyone agrees, doesn't raise objections, or rescinds from any and all objections, then let those changes apply for the tournament.

Ok, so I begin with Building Season, play Dragonstone Port and next turn I win. Wow, that's the most exciting game I ever played! If you are serious, then any discussion with you is pointless.

It is logic in my mind that nobody will abuse about this texting error. It is A Game of Throne and, most of all in not live tournament, we have to test deck and play deck that maybe normally we wouldn't play. So the limit one per round is the normal interpratation. As If I told about x-agenda, if someone not agree about this errata can argument without problems.

Let's fight in the game table and not in the forum ;-)

Rogue30, you would gain a maximum of 3 power in melee and 1 in joust, so the game would continue past the first turn :P

Signed ;-)

Wea re 17 at the moment. Let's arrive to 20 ;-)

Ps just to be sure. I know that there are other plugins of OCTGN2 in Europe, build based to the official one but with translation and sometimes different codes (I know for sure the spanish one is not compatible, not sure about french one). Be sure to install the "official one".

Gualdo

As i told you Lyonel Lannister is my pseudo on french board. Anywhere else and here i am Kordovan. You wrote the 2 entries for me,

and i am definitely certain i could not bear to play against myself lol

so we go back to 16. Pretty sure i can find another french player or two. W & S

I would like to play this dear Gualdo

Maekar,

We are in an odd number so one player per round will have Bye. Unluckly I have it first round

We will play Swiss 4 rounds. And then Top 4 of us will play against Top 4 USA.

Single match each round as default rule (if players want to make best of 3 no problem in that).

Kings of the Storm and Mountains of the Moon legal.

Ps If a player want to join during this week he is welcome and will play with me (i have the bye ).

Ps2 in real tournament how they act with bye players and same points at the end of swiss rounds? Cause I think SOS will be not right having one less opponent.

Ps3 I kindly ask missing player contact info to send them asap

MATCHES must be played in a week. You can send them till next monday night.

Tuesday 2nd november will be posted next pairing.

As said on the french forum,

Gualdo if you want i can get the bye (but I hate him) because Octgn2/hamashi are still not installed on my machine (imac)

It will be fixed for round 2, but i'm afraid that i won't be able to play the game w/ Dondiego.

No problem... I wanted 5 easy points... ;-)

anyway i'll play with dondiego... funny things is that preparing stalechk we had played for 2 months... and most of times I've lost ;-)
