Show your Deathwatch Marines

By Mjoellnir, in Deathwatch

Hello, since I'm today in a good mood to embarrass myself I'm starting a thread where people can show off miniatures of their Deathwatch Marines, because I really like the idea of playing the RPG with a floor plan and miniatures. I'm starting with Captain Riverbear of the Night Wolves Chapter who took over command after 5th edition nerfed Brother-Librarian Black Crow.

=D

Love this part of the game, since it's an RPG that I actually have minis for!

I'm currently working on some marines to represent the characters in our DW game, even though I doubt our GM will be using tactical maps it's still nice to have the representation.

I'll be sure to also put up some pics to embarres myself with once the KT is complete, at this point though the eternal hunt for lightning claws continue >.<

I am so glad I bought 2 copies of spacehulk when it was rereleased.

I am working on my squad at the moment.

also if you want some nice lightning claws try the space wolves boxset there are a few nice ones in there.

I feel your pain. I miss the time you could order actual bits from the mail order, not only whole miniatures or whole sets. The Space Wolves sprue has a pair but making them generic would take a lot of filing.

The whole team wants to become terminators? happy.gif

I did a run of minis for the test game and will do new characters once we begin our own missions :)

DeathWatch Kill-Team

Am going to use the board for space hulks and bunkers.

I just ordered my Iron Priest figure the other day. When it gets in and I paint it up I'll totally post it here.

SO EXCITED!

Wow KageD where did you get those minis? For instance, the shoulderpads seem unique @_@

The shoulders are called "Bitz" or something like that on the Games Workshop website... You can order them, and then mod them onto another space marine mini.

Ah nice- I figured they were bitz- but I didn't realize that there was a deathwatch kill team conversion kit.

The models themselves were simply tac marines/dev marines paints and added with bitz then?

Super nice minis, there KageD. Once again, however, my intense stomach pain at not being able to play a Marine with a power fist (until quite a bit from now) is plaguing me.

ooooh. urgh.

Great minis. happy.gif I use the Deathwatch conversion parts too. I'm even thinking about putting that shoulder pad on an Inquisitor to make her look like one of the Marines, but that's something I decide when I get the miniature, I'm already waiting for one week....

I'll probably put up a picture of Black Crow next. After I updated the paint job. gran_risa.gif

Since Brother-Librarian Black Crow has a few problems with silver stains that were supposed to be stars on his cloak, here's a picture of an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor. Yes, I know she's technically not a Deathwatch Marine, but since people complain that there can't be women in Deathwatch. gui%C3%B1o.gif
