Iseara + Lober Crew / Snotling Saboteurs ...

By Shindulus, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

That's not really a rule question but I wanted to get some feeling about combos between Iseara + units with self sacrifice ability.

I am a only destruction deck player and actually I play a lot with Iseara + lober crew + Snotling Saboteurs

I really feel like seeing turn 3 (and even earlier in some condition) a same lobber crew that can be played 3 times and more is ....

Will it be usefull to clarified "self sacrifying'" by something like a unit can not "self sacrifice" more than once per turn?

Why do you post then here? ;)

I think it is a viable tactic. You need a lot of resources and the proper cards in your hand. One small Holy Zealot and Iseara is history. I never played ageinst it (maybe on Stahleck) but in my opinion it is not broken or imba. Who would have thougt that Orcs could play a control deck ;)

For me one of the problem is that once Iseara is in play "only" 5 ressources allow you to use it 2 times and for each 2 ressources you can use it 1 additionnal time. And with your initial 3 ressources you can use it once per turn.

For sure necromancy has been tuned to have good synergy with sacrifice mecanic and for exemple I really feel less disapointed with such combo :

- Great Unclean

- Warpstone excavation

- Walking sacrifice

- Iseara

And you have a way to draw as many card as you want while getting your great unclean stronger and stronger, but the set up is with 4 cards, you must draw theim there is a set up.

To be a "threat" even a dwarf deck based on ranger + catapult + Grudge Thrower + recall + reclaiming the fallen need some set up.

In the single combo Iseara + Lobber crew you just have to put Iseara in play and the "threat" is here (and you can play her very fast) there is no set up.
