On page 184, under the Fundamentals of Warp Travel section, it is stated that sometimes the Astronomican is not accessible because the ship is beyond its reach.

What is the maximum reach of the Astronomican?

Is the Koronus Expanse included in its reach?

Koronos is included, though at the outer edge of the Koronos expanse is about the limit. There is certainly a possibility of them finding themselves "beyond the astronomicon", weather through warp stone or necessity.

Considering the Warp's cavalier approach to distances in euclidean space, it's probably safe to say there's no exact distance from Terra where it is no longer visible. The Koronus Expanse is definitely at the very border though - move to the wrong parts of it and you may find yourself in darkness. Here there be monsters.

The Astronomican can reach exactly as far as the plot needs it to.
