anyone got anything to add?

I would like them to address the Myriad of FAQ's for rule clarifications ![]()
Perhaps FFG will be kind enough (as they have done in the past) to make the most popular and/or significant of the maps available for download on their Support section? Otherwise one of the most obvious options is to try and get the fans to produce their own versions of it and see if they'll make it available to download, either personally (megaupload or whatever) or by posting it to one of the numerous fan sites out there.

The map of the Jericho Reach is up under the support section. It's listed under preview content.
would also like to see the map in the book as well, the one of the galaxy
NOT endless Chapter write-ups and stats. It would be much preferable for them to just make the Chapter generator rules promised for the IH-equivalent manual to be up to the job of doing characters from ANY Chapter (whether canon Chapters, homebrew, whatever).
I would like to see more unique and detailed worlds. Adventures that are genuinely more than just combat scenarios. Much more detail and flavour for the Chaos villains of the Reach.

I'm going to agree with that. While examples such as Final Sanction can be made more roleplaying-oriented with a bit of GM help, I've been hoping to see more roleplaying materials in the official supported material. What has been presented before is solid game materials, but that's not necessarily the same.
YMMV, of course, and on these boards that is virtually guaranteed.

thanks for the links but a map i can print out and use would be better. there must be one, just can't find it right now
My group actually really likes Final Sanction (we're about half-way through it currently). It is one of the most open-ended introductory adventures we've played yet. It is great that it introduces you into the action, gives you some objectives, and lets the players figure out how to achieve them. A bit better than the normal rail-roaded intro adventures we're used to.
I'd like to see a character generation utility, kind of like the one here: http://www.malleus.dk/Ordo/Default.aspx but geared for DW (One for RT wouldn't hurt either!)
Even if some features were left out (requiring you to have the book to use it) it would be better than doing everything by hand.
Would really like to see an consolidated (from all 40K RPG games) and expanded bestiary.
AJC
DW Space Marines Chapter addition & new story lines, more wargear (old marks of Power Armour, new patterns of bolters, chainswords, trappings) for SMs

Seconded, I woud love to see books that support all three games at once.
More Xenos. Considering the small number of pages in the core book dedicated to enemies the inclusion of chaos forces was a bit confusing to me.
More Chapters
More Vehicles
Alternate Careers
More Gunz and stuff (Manditory)
More on Astartes and Politics
Moah Monstahs (Manditory)
I'm gonna make some predictions here based on previous releases/release schedules for DH and RT. Most requests here probably fit into these book releases.
OK, in release order:
At this point it breaks down a bit but after this I would expect a series of chapter specific source books condensing and expanding on existing chapter backgrounds and adding expanded trappings, relics etc as well as special classes such as Wolf Priests and Sanguinary Priests.
To this I'd like to see more rapid online release of books and more downloadable material for scenarios like maps and player handouts.
You could just see what is planned for the next year of Deathwatch by looking at the release schedule

It would be nice to have some additional information though. For example, whether I should start designing Crimson Fist rules myself or whether there will be additional chapters forthcoming. The cover of Rites of Battle indicates that Imperial Fists will be included in it, at least.
I surely hope that FFG can provide us a glimpse at the contents of that important supplement asap. I've been putting off developing rules for Honour Badges myself after what was contained in the core rulebook.
Just something more about what's further down the road.

As has been FFG's practice for all the other books in the 40kRP ranges, you'll start to see information come out about Rites of Battle after The Emperor Protects (the next book, containing three adventures) has been released, just as there was no info about Into the Storm until after Lure of the Expanse had been sent out to stores. Preview material comes one book at a time, and only for the next book on the schedule, but it does arrive eventually.
Plus, there's no reason why you shouldn't come up with rules anyway. So what if the official books will have rules too? You having your own rules means that you have more options to choose from (such as whether you prefer your rules or FFG's rules). If you want to write rules, go ahead, we'd all love to see them

+1
Making a mission and some combat is fairly simple IMHO but helping players that haven't read 101 Space Marine books come up with roleplaying tips, and helping the GM come up with some 'you can't just solve this by a bolter to the face' encounters would be great.
I'd like to see more minor xeno races developed- not every alien species controls a star-spanning empire. Also, some PDFs of map-tiles (similar to those in Space Hulk) would be very useful.
I'd like to see them use a time machine to fast forward to the release of Rites of Battle.
BYE
A small wish list, in no particular order:
An expanded bestiary (sure, I've got all the other books, but more xenos and DW specific foes would be handy)
Fast and simple mass combat rules for the crusade
A less clunky starship battle system than what RT has - preferrably inspired by, say, the current Star Wars RPG in which all characters contribute
More pointers on how not to only run combat oriented missions (don't really need'em, but the game does and I like to steal the odd nifty idea)
Also, I very much liked the write-up on Deathwatch itself, so more of that, please. Conspiracies, NPCs, what's cooking in the Jericho Reach currently - a list of hotzones and running investigations, and so forth.
And ofc Chapter design rules, more equipment, rites, setting description and whatnot.
Rules for learning chapter-specific squad mode abilities depending on how long characters have been fighting together. Even if it's just a few that can be shared and it takes time and lots of experience.
