This thread is for "hymn" suggestions.

It doesn't have to be real world hymns, just music that seems "hymny", and appropriate for blasting at the enemy. Latin or pseudo-latin ("high gothic") is always good. Some of my suggestions may be a bit inspirational - you don't want the enemy singing happily along - but I can live with that.

Sour Grapes by Puscifer sounds good, but the lyrics may be too obviously heretical at times. More suitable for a Tzeentch-worshipping ship.

The Dies Irae from Verdi's Requiem absolutely has to be on any playlist like this.

Scotland The Brave works to, if the guns of your vessel won't scare the enemy the blaring bagpipes will.

Anything by Corvus Corax (my computer wouldn't allow me to link for some reason but you can find several songs on youtube.) Espescially the Cantus Buranus I and II albums. They mostly have grand orchestral pieces with latin lyrics sung by a choir.

Red army hymns are also suitable and can be found on youtube as well.

The gothic band Dark sanctuary is a bit more gloomy and somber, but still good.

Krzysztof Penderecki has some good choral works as do Philip Glass.

The mystery of Bulgarian voices, espescially the soundtrack to the game Alone in the dark is quite good.

Copy/paste functions one the FFG boards apparently HAVE to be handled using a pop-up window. Likewise, the board doesn't seem to recognise HTML or BBCode tags.

There should be a hyperlink button at the top of the post field though (5th from the right), which bring up another pop-up. Dump the URL in there to get your links working.

Also- John Bergin did a soundtrack album for Traitor General. Maybe

I found a good Metal band the would definatly work for Rogue Trader. got to youtube and search for the band Alestorm.

Corvus Corax match very well, and i likethis band a lot, but i like Arcturus a lot for Stellar Travel sessions, frenetic and very dark.
