What do you guys think of borrowing the enemies presented in the DH Ascension book for use in Deathwatch? They seem like decently strong adversaries for Space Marines to fight (Imagine a Kill-team versus Marabas!), but I'm wondering if the addition of Paragon Talents for those enemies might be a bit too much for the Space Marines to handle, giving the enemies a bit of an unfair advantage. Do you think this is the case, or perhaps the other way around in that they need those advantages when facing Space Marines?
Ascension Enemies in Deathwatch
Sure, I would use them...though if the marines fight Marabas they should lose, he would have planned it like that...
...unless of course he planned his own loss in order to turn it into an advantage.
Other than that, marines could certainly face Ascension antagonists. Since the 40k rpgs don't give any precise "challenge rating", it's pretty much your call when your squad is ready for them. I definitely wouldn't downgrade them for the occasion though.
If the fight involveds a stand up fight, I would upgrade them somewhat, actually.
It shouldn't be a stand up fight....he would know better....
In case of a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch ten times smarter as the smartest pc I would fudge any outcome for him to have an advantage or twelve

Well he does have that ability to summon 27 lesser daemons in combat.
The only change I would give him is that, instead of mutating space marines, he just gives them corruption points. But that's only because I want them to still be playable after the battle.
