A lot of questions o.o

By Morghan, in Talisman Rules Questions

Good day everybody! Let's start:

1) If i pick up "cursed by hag", i have to put all followers on the board or discard them?

2) Bags of gold count as object? So if i pick up one i need to not have more than 3 object cards? Or i can exchange them immediately with gold without care about limitation of holding objects?

3) If i lost one round and in this time i lose another round, i need to stop for 2 rounds?

4) Into the inn, if i obtain 6 on die roll i'm forced to move to the temple next round?

Thanks for answers :)

1) Discard Pile.

2) No. Gold does not count towards the number of Objects you may have. Gold cards are exchanged immediately for gold coins.

3) Yes. e.g. If you roll a 2 in the Crags, you are forced to lose your next turn. If another player then draws the Storm in the Outer Region, you would have to miss your following turn as well!

4) No. You may choose to either move to the Temple or move as normal in the Outer Region.

Another question:

1) With "runesword" it's possible to heal-self over maximum life points guaranted by each character?

Way too lazy to fish out the card, but if it says "gain" (which IIRC it does), you can go over, if just "heal", then can't go over.

I'll control then ;) Thanks!

Yes!

I don't agree on point 3. If you are lost in the crags and someone pulls out the storm, it's storming while you are lost, so they don't add up! Another example: When the Enchantress in the city turns you in to a toad, and you visit her again in your 2nd turn being a toad and get turned into a toad again, you are a toad for 3 turns from that moment on. This means you are a toad for 5 turns in total, rather than 6 turns (Of course you can't pick up your stuff again if you land on the City in your 5th turn as a toad, since you only get transformed back at the END of that turn).

My mistake. Too many years playing the 2nd edition. In revised 4th rules, missing turns do not stack in this way (as in the Toad example).

We use this rule for the 2nd edition as well, seems more fair to me...

I thought they stacked as well, especially with Toading! You live and learn!
