How does the mirror shield interact with an ambush in road to legends?

Does this allow the players to start with 2 characters awake? One that they choose and one that is carrying the mirror shield since that player can't get a sleep token?

FAQ page 17:

Q: Can sleep tokens be resisted or removed through effects such as the silver item Mirror Shield?
A: Sleep tokens are treated just like any other lingering effect token except as expressly noted. Mirror Shield would prevent a sleep token from being placed on a hero, and Sahla may spend fatigue at the start of his turn to “wake up.”

Yup, I think the FAQ covers this too. It even mentions sleep tokens as a specific example.

Thanks, I just missed that part of the faq. I thought I remembered reading something about sleep tokens. I just didn't find it again.
