2 questions about some rules

hi all !

I just received the game for christmas and played 2 games.

I have 2 questions about some rules.

First :

When you win conquest points, it states that each players win the amount of points depending on the zones he controls. If he only have units on the conquest point zone, does he control it, or he needs a base ?

Secondly :

There are 2 conquest points zone on one planet. If the player has a base on the planet, does he control the other one like the resources ? Does he need to have some unit on the zone to control it ?

First, to win conquest points, it is necessary to control the area. To this end, the area must contain at least one friendly unid or a base.

If the player is on a planet without a base, and control with units the conquest point, he get it.

The first paragraph answered the second question. The conquest points, not act as resources. It is necessary control then!
