Call of Cthulhu RPG?

By Ebonrook, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Hey guys,

I was reading the AHWiki about a few of the monsters, and I noticed that a couple of them originate from the CoC RPG. Problem is I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone here play it? Is it out of print? I can't seem to find any solid information about it.

Thanks for any you can supply :)

Sarcasm?

My point was I couldn't figure out what CoC RPG the Wiki meant. As I found multiple RPGs when I googled it. That's why I asked here, knowing some one would know what it was talking about.

I had Call Of Cthulhu, 3rd edition, published by Games Workshop back in 1987. Never played it but it was a beautiful book with incredible artwork. Kick started my interest in Lovecraft that eventually lead here.

The Sand People are easily startled, but they will soon be back, and in greater numbers.

no, just an observation that they are missing from Arkham Horror, but were in the rpg.

Oh, maybe the next expansion?

Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu RPG is my favorite role playing game, mainly due to content and theme, but also due to the percentile system it uses. Very easy to understand and no levels, just improving skills :)

You can get the core game and supplements either off Amazon or straight from Chaosium's website, either in physical or pdf form. I'd personally like to see more COC adventures incorporated into AH.

Ahhh. I miss playing the RPG. Maybe I should drag it out and start another game. Anyone try the live action Cthulhu LARP?

I haven't ever LARPed before. I'd feel too shy.

Though the Cthulhu one is probably the one I would go in for if I did.

The LARP is fun and there is something inherently hilarious with seeing 5 people under a giant black tarp with holes in it trying to imitate a shoggoth
