Can you guys throw some examples at me? I'm not entirely sure on how the True Grit talent works!

The example on p.122 seems pretty clear. Whenever a character would take critical damage they half it (rounding up) instead.

Bob has a soak of 6 (TB + AP) and is on 2 wounds. He is shot by a lasgun for 12 damage which would normally deal (2 - (12-6) = -4) = 4 points of critical damage. If Bob has the True Grit Talent they would instead only take 2 points of critical damage.

This means they can take a bit more of a beating before things get nasty (blood loss, missing limbs, ceasation of vital life signs etc.).
