Primarch curse isn't a very good name

By Tarkand, in Deathwatch

In the case of the Black Templar it isn't anyway.

Rogal Dorn didn't have any particular hard on for psychers/heretic/witches... not anymore so than your other Primarch anyway.

As a result, it wouldn't make much sense for the Imperial Fists or Crimson Fists or any other Chapter that Rogal Dorn has a Primarch to share the same Primarch Curse.

Despite the name, it's really more of a 'chapter' curse, which has much more to do with taking the doctrine of your Chapter to the extreme and not necessarily having anything to do with the Primarch.

This might become a bigger 'uh what?' thing once more Chapter start to appear in the books.

Whilst Dorn wasn't manically against Psykers, he was against them being used in the Space Marine Legions and was one of the most ardent supporters of this cause along with Corax, Mortario and Leman Russ. Whilst the Black Templar's take this to the extremes, and even current day Imperial Fists have embraced the practice of using Librarians in their ranks it is notable that Dorn himself was against this so in a way the Black Templar's are probably closer to the Primarch's idea on battlefield psykers than the Imperial or Crimson Fists. How far Dorn's ire to the psyker went I do not know, if only he forbade them in his own Legion or if he attempted to have them removed from every Legion. Whilst Nikaea did this, and disbanded the Librariums of those Legions that had used them and redistributed them amongst the Battle-Brothers Librarians were probably reintroduced after the Codex Astartes comes in, potentially after Dorn's death. However the reason that the Librarians were allowed to return is so far unknown. Lexicanum has quite a lot of "detail" on this knocking around and stuff on Dorn as well.
