Transportation

By Ebonrook, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Hey guys,

The missus recently joined a gaming club and I've been asked to bring AH with me. Well I only have Dunwich Horror and am already noticed that soon enough it's going to be nigh on impossible to comfortably get the boxes on the train and into the university games club.

So I was considering getting something like this, javascript:void(0);/*1285432991702*/ Has anyone else got anything like this? How do you guys go about transporting your stuff? I will probably have to get some Card Collection boxes from somewhere for all the cards as well though of course. Oh what jolly good fun eh?

Any suggestions on how you guys transport it around? If at all? Or only playing home games? Lemme know :)

I'll usually just carry the big boxes by hand, the small boxes I'll carry in a bag. I'm not crazy about transporting the game though, it's fairly heavy and I hate the thought of losing a piece somewhere that isn't my home.

If you get rid of the plastic in the base game box, you can fit Dunwich as well as King in Yellow (or some other small box expansion) into the original box. The lid sits a bit high, but it's not hard to transport. I also bought a bunch of small plastic containers with lids for the little fiddly bits; otherwise the lid would still sit flush, I think.
