What year is 1st edition set in?

The original book and Enemy Within started in IC 2512. Earlier editions of WFB pushed the timeline to about 2521, with the Storm of Chaos eventually happening in 2522.

I think 1st Edition was originally intended to happen around 2500-2502. About the time Karl-Franz becomes emperor (or even before). But TEW did came soon after the Corebook and pushed the timeline forward (it happens around 2511-2513).

Storm of Chaos came to WFB in 2004. And then the timeline was pushed to 2522 (and also ignored some events from the Warhammer fluff).

In the original WFRP 1ed rulebook is a useful table with years. I don't know why it this edition is one? lengua.gif

This table is full of dates and important events from many perspectives. The 1st ed is set in year 2500 (Empire calendar) but for High Elves this is the year 8500, for Wood Elves this is 3500, for Dwarfs it is 5500 and for Halflings it is 1500. So many dates but one time. gui%C3%B1o.gif

All 1st edition is set before the Great Storm of Chaos.

What the heck?... you can add skype numbers to these posts as well? how do you do that. A neat little trick. would be nice to be able to call each other if we wanted. is this some kind of trick?
