Requisition points

By RyueOkami, in Deathwatch

Hi I've got a few small questions in regards to requisition points.

I've 3 DW space marines in my group. On the Mission I sent them I have calculated that they got 63 reqisition points (1 skilled primary, 2 novice secondary, and 1 novice tertiary targets).

Are thos 63 points now splitted up on the 3 marines? OR are those 63 for EACH of the marines (totaling in 189)?

Another Thing is I'm giving my players also the option, to use a specially modified landspeeder in their missions.
(This landspeeder is modified, so as to be able to accomodate the 3 and possibly another marine. Furthermore it wields heavier armor
than a normal landspeeder, and a twin linked assault cannon to the fore and a storm bolter for the left and right sides).
I'm considering to let them buy the landspeeder for mission where I have not calculated it in. Would 100 points be adequate? Or more like 200?

tnx

As I understand it the Requisition points are per Marine. They can then choose to pool their points to purchase certain items if they wish. So 63 points for each marine.

I am not going to venture a guess about the vehicle though.

It states to Split them up among the marines. I believe anyway, I will have to read it and pull the page number for you. But that would 21 Req points per marine as they get a total of 63 if they decide to pull their stuff together. Which makes sense, as what can you get for a total of 63, that you can use as starting low renown character.

That's a pretty heavy speeder, both in terms of armour and firepower. I would say definitely high-end of Requisition for that. Maybe your guys need the extra firepower, but two storm bolters and two linked assault cannons is a LOT.

Personally I think things like vehicles would probably be issued on a per-mission basis when the Watch Captain feels it necessary, and not something you could requisition whenever you feel like it.

Uhm it's only:

Front: twin linked Assault cannon
Left side (on a turret like mount): Storm bolte
Right side (on a turret like mount): Storm bolte

So for a landspeeder it hasn't a extreme weapon loadout, but is more in the middle. (most Speeders have two heavy weapons, and there
are even those who have twin ilnked auto cannons AND additional heavy weapons)

Only the armor and transport capacity is better than for a standard speeder (but the armor is much less than for a tempest and the carrying capacity
is way less than for a storm).

Considering you can requisition Terminator Armour...
