I'll be starting up a RT campaign soon, and although they won't come into play immediately, I'd like to include some Tech Guard/Skitarii for clashes with the Mechanicus...

Are they in one of FFG's books and I missed it, or no?

If no, has anyone come up with some of their own that they could post?

There's no official career, but you could just take the Archmilitant and let him take the Augmenticist and possibly Gland Warrior alternate ranks and pump him full of bionics.

Oh wait... you meant as an enemy. In that case, take a look at the servitor models strewn throughout the series - DH and RT core books have a few, Inquisitor's Handbook has some. Put back a little intelligence and they'll probably be useful. Other than that, just take the trooper stats of choice and seasonliberally with a few talents and augmetics.

I'd imagine Skitarii would could come in several flavours: normal troopers (well-rounded set of bionics and talents), heavies (autostabilised and lots of armour), assassins (take a look at that one assassin of the DH adventure... I believe it was one in the anthology) and pilots (MIU) and servitor handlers (binary chatter & vox implants). Probable weapons will be hellguns and chemical weapons (they've got augmetic lungs - their enemies don't).

N0-1_H3r3 was working on a Mechanicum fan source book for Dark Heresy that was going to include the Skitarii. I think if you search the dark heresy forums you can find the alternate career path that he posted for it. It is pretty good.

There is a bit on the Skiitari in the inquisitor's handbook. It basically says that you can represent a Skiitari by taking the forge world home world with the guardsman career. Equip him with some forge world gear from the same book and some cybernetics and develop him to the desired rank and you should have a decent representation of a Skiitari for your game.

Skitarii are basically stormtroopers serving Mechanicus. Grab the Inquisitorial Stormtrooper statblock from pretty much any DH book, slap on some metal bits and tweak the stats and gear a bit.

The Praetorians would be the Skitarii equivalent of Storm Troopers (actually closer to Space Marines in that they are genetically and bionically enhanced).
