Lords of the Narrow Sea

I am almost sure but I would like to ask to be certain about Lords of the Narrow Sea.

House Baratheon only.
Any Phase: Kneel 3 influence or kneel a Noble character to force an opponent to reveal a new plot card. If the newly revealed plot card has a lower income than yours, claim 1 power for your House.

That does not mean I have to kneel my influence or my character, does it?

cost

I have another question concerning that card:

May the opponent choose the new plotcard or must he take the next one on his/her pile?

The opponent gets to choose the card. As far as I can see, "reveal a plot card" always means "choose and reveal". Otherwise the wording would be "select at random", like with this card: http://agot.dbler.com/index.php?view=card&arsenalid=20428

But the plot must come from his plot pile, not his used plot pile.

Just to clarify, your draw deck (the thick deck of cards you play with) is randomly shuffled and the player draws off the top. In contrast, the owner of the deck has complete control over the plot deck...every time you reveal, you pick and choose which plot you want for the round. Plots are not played in order, because there's no real order; they are also not played in random, unless another card effect specifically tells you to choose a plot at random.

With regard to this card, if you force your opponent to pick a new plot, the opponent can pick any plot he/she likes that is not already revealed or in the used pile.
