I will do a table board with 1 inches squares for playing, but i dont know if there is some company or place where they provide this , anyone knows about this? I want to know so i can see if i can improve the board we are doing. i find useful to have one board to play, since with that we can measure the meters and the positions in play. Wich are the best?
do you use a battlemat, a board or something else for play? if so, which are the best?
I tend to get Paizo mats. They do the 1' square ones that are friendly dry/wet erase in the laminated folding style. Chessex also has good wet erase 'soft' ones that roll up.
For indoor scenes I usually use a foamcore dry-erase board with a grid of 1" squares printed on it, and draw out the details with a dry-erase marker. The board belongs to a friend of mine (one of the players), and I'm not sure where he got it. He used to work for a graphic design company, so it may be home-made.
For outdoor battles I bust out my old Necromunda terrain or WH40K buildings/landscapes, and use a tapemeasure to determine ranges rather than counting a printed grid. I actually perfer this to the method above- it adds a great visual element to the climactic encounters!- but it's not really practical for shoot-outs in rooms or other small spaces.
thanks pals! i really i dont know much about the ones availables
Paizo is a great source of bit mats.
I use a combination of Paizo mats, D&D tiles, Space Hulk tiles, DOOM tiles (from FFG's game), Warhammer Quest tiles, and general 40K terrain (and Pegasus Hobbies terrain, which is modular and awesome!).
We do everything with miniatures, so it kinda helps to have a lot of terrain types.

Ditto! Here is a shot from one of my recent games, representing the dust streets of Port Suffering. The 'street' is made from plastic dungeon tiles that a friend of mine originally bought for D&D (there are wall sections that snap into the little holes). The buildings are a mix of ones we built for Necromunda years ago, and some new buildings I made by mounting cardboard packaging inserts onto 1" insulation foam.

-Yeah, the car in the foreground is unpainted, but it was necessary to the scenario. Sue me.
