I still have one copy left in stock. If you lived in Minnesota, not only could you buy it, but could play it here on a regualr basis.
And the game will be available again in about 1-2 weeks, and then again in late November, according to FFG's emails to retailers.
Where are you? Last I checked for example, there are one or two stores in Toronto with it.

Oh yeah, Ft Lauderdale here, most likely be moving to Tampa in the next year or two, well at least when we get our games there will be two people in florida playing Arkham Horror

But aside from that, if you really want to pick up a copy of Arkham Horror, the two game stores near me in Sunrise have copies.
Their names are Tate's Gaming Satellite and Crossroad Comics, both are two blocks from each other.
H.P. you wouldn't happen to role play as well would you? My group is looking for some more players, Mondays and Saturdays - Savage Worlds, 7th Sea, etc.
*Edit Whoops, I gave you the old name of one of the stores, it's not Comics Galaxy it's now Crossroads Comics.

Sorry I have never role played before, in fact I haven't even played Arkham Horror yet, just ordered it yesterday, and it is the first of this type of game that I have ever played.
Lovecraft is my favorite writer and I wish I had discovered this game years ago.
Well, even though I've owned this game for a few years now, I'm in the same boat as you and still have yet to play myself. The first few times where too confusing what with the base manual to hunt and peck through. ... and the drinkin ...
I definitely recommend you print out some of the helpful rules summaries here to get you through your first game.
Also I believe Tate's has a copy that they will gladly show you how to play with, they've also got quite a few other games available for the same. That and there's usually always a few people willing to play there most times of the day.
If you're interested in learning to role play you can also check out Tates and Crossroads on the weekends and some days out of the week for a group open to new players. If you look on the bulletin boards the Savage Worlds advertisement is the group I play with.
Oh I plan on gathering a bunch of reference material the first few times I play, Ill probably have the 9 video series on youtube playing in the background, the manual, the phase sheets, the board game playing aid etc.
Where are these two stores that you were talking about? That would be great, to see people actually playing the game, probably the best way to learn some of it.
I'm not up on role playing, what exactly does it involve?

I just moved to Tampa and I've been looking for people to play with. I played with a great group in Indiana, but I'm having trouble finding anyone here that's into the game. Any help?
