Hi everybody, it's my first topic on this forum! I bought Talisman a few days ago and i already love it!

Me and my friends wanted to start a sort of tournament between us, but we don't have any idea if there are official rules to calculate the final scores :/
Anyone knows something about this? Also home-made rules already tested are appreciated

I know there is one gent who has a group and they keep stats, but not really scoring wise.

You could make a points system I guess, wouldnt be too hard.

Gold = 1 point

spells = 1 point

trophys 1 point per point

Strength and craft tokens = 7 points

objects = 1 point

magic objects = 3+ points

Followers 1-2 points per

Relic /Treasure 10 points ???

Fate is kind of tricky I'd say 2 or 3 points per.

Maybe give Talismans bonus points, hence the name of the game.

Something like that would be OK, it rewards people who go for the tough areas of the game.

A bonus of 30-50 points or so could be given to whomever wins the game.

Other bonuses could go into play for eliminating players during the course of the game.

You could also play a totally different variant, the gold rush.

Gold Rush Rules

o Each characrter starts the game with 6 gold.

o Characters do not have lives, if ever they would lose a life, they lose one gold instead. If you lose all your gold, your game ends.

o Alchemy of any kind is strictly prohibited

At the end of a set period, see who has the most gold. In a tie, the next gold won would win. Its crazy of course, but why not?

It makes the raiders kind of fatal

That's kinda cool.....the tavern would become a very risky place to visit.
