Armour craftsmanship

So the book contains a blurb on just how armour craftsmanship changes things.

Is it possible to get master craftsmanship power armour, or is it effectively artificer armour. On the one hand, saying that its artificer armour seems appropriate, but on the other, if the master craftsmanship is applied to normal power armour, the end result is slightly less effective than artificer armour (but it would also be more accessible if such a thing existed). The problem is, no requisition cost is listed for power armour, so there is no basis for even associating a cost with it.

Second, there is no requisition cost associated with most of the armours (besides terminator or artificer), so are things like master craftsmanship scout armour appropriate/accessible? I would say something for scout armour would be nice, adding a bit more survivability to stealth types, but once again, there is no pricing listed.

Assume Requisition 0.

Alex

under tech marine it mentions they get +2 AP on armour- so one would assume that was master craftsmanship.

I think for other players to get this kind of bonus would require extreme renown, maybe once they have go to the second to last tier (can't recall off hand the title) they get +1 AP, and at the highest renown +2 AP

Well if req 0 is used for say PA or scout armour, it just bugsme that players are getting an actual improvement, basically for free (except for the renown requirement).

I guess it isn't too bad, it could represent a progression and what not.

Or you assume PA to be of master craftsmanship quality already. :-)
