ok, i have the alliance cards but i dont see how to use them in the instructions. do i use both factions cards? if not, then is one faction the major and minor partner? is there some ratio i should follow? can an orc go on a chaos quest?.......i can think of 20 more questions becauser i have no clue as to how the alliance cards work, or how to legally build a deck using two factions.

please help

by "both factions cards" i mean do i have both cities out and use all 6 zones?

You can combo any Order card in an Order deck, ditto for Destruction. You only still use 1 capital board.

You can mix and match cards from all 3 of the Order races in the same deck, same for Destruction. Then pick a single capital board for your faction, the only difference between them is that it adds a single loyalty icon for that race. You only ever use a single capital, regardless of your deck's make-up.

You can play cards that don't match your capital so long as you can pay their loyalty cost (the same as any other card). Cards that match your capital just have one of their loyalty cost covered which generally makes them cheaper. The alliance cards just provide 2 loyalty icons that reduce loyalty costs just like any others, they're useful but not essential for mixed-race decks.

Certain support cards like Derricksburg forge are very solid ways to build up icons. The alliances are nice, but I find I use them rarely because I can usually think of a support card from that faction that I rather have instead.

ok, if im running dwarves and elves, and i use the dwarf board, how does my first elf come out with no elf loyalty icons on the table? besides alliance , that is. my cards are base,elves, and skavenblight 1 - 6.

If you use the Dwarf capital, you have to fork up the extra missing Loyalty as resources. So Swordmasters of Hoeth (4HH cost) would cost 6 resources (1 res for each missing loyalty). You don't need 1 Loyalty to play cards with the missing loyalty.
