Last weekend took place the Tours Regionals in Western France. 25 players for Joust and 22 for melee.

Ilyrio's gift was legal. Stark won both competitions

Following links are in French

Official results there

Winning Joust deck : Stark w/ all six The North agendas

Winning Melee Deck : Stark Siege of Winterfell

I was not there but my padawans elwe and katagena won !

Any idea how much time was given for each match?

50 minutes for Joust

90 minutes for Melee

What the hell is Vere, Pics des glaces (Climbing Spikes?), Fort frontalier (Frozen Outpost?) and charge repoussée (Routing the Charge?)?

And which Catelyn he played?

Vere = Gilly

Pics d'escalade = Climbing spikes

Fort frontalier = Borderland Keep

Charge repoussée = Routing the charge

Catelyn was the jumping version.

50 minutes ?! sorpresa.gif How do you manage to win with a Stark deck like that so fast? 6 power obviously come from Ministrel´s muse as plot 1-6 and your 8th plot, but than you need still 6 additional power, if you are lucky you get to draw Mance and only need 4 additional power. I play a successful Greyjoy discard wildling/nightwatch deck which looks similiar to the winning Stark deck, but it usually takes more than 50 minutes to win with it.

I also played a lot that kind of deck and the last problem is 50 minutes game :-)

Congrats to the winners!!!

It's good to see Stark still going strond in Europe. Too bad it never seems to do well over here.

Congatulations to the winners. That was quite the turnout.

I wasn't there but the top players are quite seasoned (some playing since Ice and Fire). Besides the new tournament rules give more points for loss than for draw, I guess it also goes a long way to reduce the stalling ....
