A whole Forge World sourcebook devoted to the largest (known) Marine civil war since the Horus Heresy. Groovy! I love the Forge world books, and it's heartening to see that it appears to have been written by Alan Bligh, who wrote to much of the original Dark Heresy background, and who continues to play such a large part in the 40k RPG scene.
My only worry is the fact that I've already bought 2x Into the Storm, 1x Deathwatch, and 1 x DW CE in the past month, (1 each for me, 1 each as presents for my brother) PLUS I want the DW GM screen...so I might have to put this off for a month as I've spent circa £300 on this stuff!
The Badab War would make a nice campaign setting for a Deathwatch kill team, actually, especially the intrigue surrounding its early period. Many of the Chapters involved thought they were standing up for Astartes independence against Administratum interference, so not all of those on the "traitor" side were actually renegades in the same way as in the Horus Heresy. It would be interesting to see a campaign involving a DW kill-team with members from both sides of the war attempt to get a grip on what's really happening behind the scenes.
