Was I dreaming that there's a way to sacrifice PF points to make your crew better? If not, where are those rules? Thanks!

I posted about this earlier, and have not gotten an answer. I thought I read that someplace too, but where??

Page 193.

+5 profit for Incompetent (20) crew, -5 for Crack (40) crew, -15 for Veteran (50) crew.

I too wonder how one would do this. So far I've just treated it like replenishing the crew, only increasing the acquisition diff. by in accordance to the crew quality.

I kinda doubt the SP cost directly translates into PF. A good crew shouldn't be worth more than say a lance battery.

I do not understand why they did not just put these crew figures under Essential Components, as they should have been. The average crew is Competent and is figured into the ships cost. It would have made ship design easier.

In the new book into the storm it's possible to increase your crew rating with quistion rolls. Not sure the exact page but it's near the end of the ships section after components in the section with atomics, and all servitor crews....
