While I'm of no means bereft of ideas to work with for the upcoming game I'm running, I was wondering if anyone anywhere ever saved the player made material from the Black Industries website, specifically all the stuff that people made for the various worlds of the Calixis Sector?

Kinda like what they have here. Except on the BI site, a lot of the various planets had links where you'd find expanded information contributed by the fans.

If anyone knew where that might have ended up, it'd be really appreciated, as I was thinking of looking it over for additional ideas.

This was something that we were actually thinking of doing over at Dark Reigncreating a "living sector" where people could add information to established worlds, e.g. additional information on cities, maps and plans. The same setup would have allowed people to submit fan worlds as well. There is, however, not so much work being done on that at the moment.

A similar approach is being "re-initiated" over at Anargo, but while a bit more advanced, that's also not Calixis.

With regards to what you're specifically after, I do believe that there is a PDF kicking around, but I cannot put my finger on where I heard that it was stored. Sorry.

I put a couple in the fan-fiction index that I've used running DH. Malfi is one I'll have come back to at another time as in-game circumstances caused a rather nasty accident there where it literally does have a few hives and about 10billion less people... oops.

There use to be a world building site called eruvian.com that allowed people to put there own roleplaying worlds online. It was pretty cool because you could set yourself up as a game master and each location you built you could put up generic information that everyone could see but you could also put GM specific information up as well. I think that sort of setup for would work well for the Calixis sector world information.

I'm in the process of writing up the entire Drusus Marches for our Ascendend campaign (oh the joys of giving the players a sandbox) I'll post up the links to the files when I finish them.

I'd be very interested in seeing if those old BI pages you mentioned had anything I could use to help flesh out a few worlds.
