So, I've been researching Calixis Sector as best I can, but there's just not enough info to provide me with the answer to this question: are there any Space Marine chapters (discounting Grey Knights and Deathwatch) in Calixis Sector?
Marines in Calixis?

In terms of large-scale presence, the Storm Wardens (who appear in the Deathwatch rulebook) are based in the Calixis Sector. Their homeworld of Sacris, on the far trailing edge of the Drusus Marches subsector, is officially classified as Forbidden, and their presence within the sector remains unknown to all but a few of the highest-ranking servants of the Imperium within the region.
Furthermore, if I remember correctly, there is an old Black Templar Chapter Keep in the sector, set up during the Angevin Crusade. I forget its current status however.

I think it's basically locked down and staffed by servitors to keep it maintained, there aren't any Black Templars there now.
As N0-1 said, the Storm Wardens are around, but very, very few people know they're there, and they don't really interact with Calixis, tending to keep to themselves. Admittedly though, 7+ Companies of the Storm Wardens are in the Jericho Reach with the Crusade there, so there aren't that many Storm Wardens in Calixis.
If you are looking for active Space Marine groups/Chapters in Calixis, you're going to be disappointed.

Or put another way, if your looking for active Space Marine groups in Calixis, you're going to have to put them their yourself.

Well yes, obviously. I was talking about if he was after officially active Space Marine groups in Calixis, that are covered in the fluff.

It's on Cloister, and the Core book gives a very brief bit of info on it. It's currently occupied by a small order of monks, who really don't want to be there if the Black Templars come back.
And let's not forget the Shrine to Saint Drusus on Klybo, which is guarded by two venerable Dreadnoughts of the Iron Hands chapter.
Just sayin' ...

I knew there were Dreadnoughts somewhere... but those guys have been standing there, unmoving and not talking, since the end of the Crusade, which isn't exactly "active"

Well, I don't believe it mentions them being rotated out, but I can't see them just sitting the same two dreads there for 2000 odd years. I'm sure there's some sort of duty rotation, otherwise those dreads are gonna start getting a bit punchy like their Chaos counterparts.

Has anyone noticed the status of Sacris on FFG's "The Calixis Sector"(in the support section) list? I found it pretty funny that it's listed as a plague world. That'll keep the curious away, eh?

You know the Imperium of Man is a wondeful place to live when "Plague World" is an official planetary designation. I wonder how many other "Plague Worlds" there are out there
Pulled from the Koronus Expanse Timeline:
"517.M41
Two Adeptus Astartes strike cruisers and several escort ships of unknown chapter and origin and sporting no heraldry appear over Footfall demanding tribute in supplies and information on pain of planetary assault if their demands are not met. The Liege promptly and wisely acquiesces to their requests and the Space Marines depart again to an unknown destination."
Mysterious, to say the least.

Although duly noted in the first line as "except", we do know that the Deathwatch is active in Calixian space since one of their brothers goes with the Acolytes onto Twilight in PtUC. Other than that and the dreadnoughts, no other Space Marines are in the DH line of books (RT has a mention and DW creates the Strom Wardens.)
It would be easy to use the rules from DW and put a mobile Chapter passing through Calixian space or even a Chapter like the Dark Angels that is based new the Eye of Terror, which isn't far away on a galactic scale. With the addition of the Warp Gate in the Maw, anything is possible.

To be fair, MILLANDSON has a point. But, they were certainly "active" when our poor Templar Calix had to try and talk his way past them in order to ask a question of St. Drusus' spirit, said to be in residence there.
But as far as chapters "active" in the sector ... yeah, not really.

Another possibilty is the Red Hunters Chapter. They're, or were, active in neighbouring Scarus Sector and have close ties to the Inquisition.
Does the Scarus sector directly neighbour the Eye of terror? Because there are 20 Chapters based there full time at least.
Also which Chapters were mentioned as being part of the Margin Crusade, I remember reading it on a web site but don't know what book it was mentioned in. I only remember that Black Templars were envolved. I wonder if they made a stop of that old Fortress monestary?
There are plenty of roving or crusading chapters out there that could show up pretty much anywhere, most notably the Black Templars, but also the Imperial Fists and Blood Ravens. Theres also the three chapters (Mantis Warriors, Executioners, Lamenters) that were forgiven in the Badab Uprising and have been on century-long penance crusades since 912.M41. Of course, Badab is halfway across the galaxy from Calixis, but hey, blame the warp.
Also, there are wildcards like the Relictors that could be passing by on throne knows what business.
It is mentioned in the Dark Angels codex that one of their succesor chapters, the Guardians of the Covenant have a homeworld on the western rim and have been launching crusades into the Halo stars. Thats quite close to the Calixis Sector.
