Manipulating turn order to avoid bad effects

By Paul Grogan, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I think this is ok with the rules, but it seems wrong...

Heroes have an outdoor encounter. One of them is down to 2 wounds and has 2 bleed tokens. Chances are that he will die in his turn. So the heroes do all the other heroes turns first, and manage to kill all the monsters. It doesnt say so explicitly, but I think at this point the encounter is over immediately. Bleed tokens removed, hero still alive.

It just seems wrong....

Seems legit to me. Heroes get to choose their turn order, nothing unreasonable there. With a setup like that, it's the OL's fault for not being sure to keep a unit alive somewhere far away, knowing that he'd have 2 bleeds on a near-death hero.

It doesn't sound that wrong, it is much easier to stabilize an injured character when you are not in combat anymore! happy.gif
